Beckham's Birthday and a Day off with my Hubby!

Beckham is One today! Where has this year gone! It seems like yesterday we brought him home to our previous house. It's crazy how time just flies by. I have learned more and more to take every moment in with my kids. We had the best day ever for Beck's bday and my hubby decided to surprise us and take the day off! Beck started the day off with chocolate chip waffles! Yummo!

HOT MESS

Papa Tony stopped by and gave Beck his first lottery ticket...he lost! But he still got to see Papa!

We are celebrating Beck's first birthday on Sunday with our fam and friends but wanted to celebrate his actual Birth Day as well :). Beckham's fave meal is Japanese Hibachi...sounds crazy, but this dude will put away all kinds of rice and veggies!

Mommy and daddy were able to get some stuff done around the house before the party this weekend and I baked some cupcakes, because you can't have a birthday without some cupcakes and a couple gifts early too!

Nana and Papa came over to visit the birthday boy!

Love this day and all the fun we had! Cannot wait for Sunday for his big party!!

XOXO

New Blog, My baby is turning One!

Welcome to my new blog! This is only the 2nd blog I've ever had. I decided to start blogging again to document my family, all the fun remodel projects around our new home, my running ventures, healthy recipes and all the fun and joy God has blessed me with!
I wanted to start out this blog with a  post about some the best days of my life I will never forget!
1. My salvation- I am so lucky to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. My dad led me to the Lord when I was 7 years old and I will never forget him helping me as Jesus into my heart. I am so lucky to have grown up in a Christian home.
2. The day I married my best friend. As everyone mostly knows I was lucky enough to be reunited with my high school sweetheart. Me and Nicholas met when we were around 14 years old at Emmanuel Church. We dated on and off then Nicholas joined the Navy and I didn't talk to him much. I was able to get in touch with him again years later and eventually moved on a whim down to Jacksonville, FL where he was stationed in 2004. He was deployed in 2005 to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and came back months later and proposed. In 2006 we were married! We moved back to Indy in 2007 and Nick started a company Racer Cartage. We built our first home in 2008. God has truly blessed with me with my husband and I appreciate him so much. Love like ours is hard to find!

3. My beautiful Ashlynn Marie. She will be 4 in May and I'm not sure where all the time has gone. It sems like yesterday we brought her home at our first home. She is such a joy and there is never a dull moment with her. She has so much love, attitude, and mommy's hard head-ness (is that a word)...whatever. She is almost done with her first year of preschool and I'm blown away at how much she has learned and where she is going. God has great things planned for our little diva.

4. Finally my little Beckham Ray. I have always been a girlie girl. I had some years of practice with Ashlynn of tutu's, bows and glitter and now have my little mini man. He is my heart (well his place for it). He is my fearless little spitfire. I never in my life thought I would have so much joy as this little man brings to our lives. He always has a smile on his face and when he looks at me my heart just fills up.  We are so blessed to be celebrating his 1 year birthday tomorrow. It has gone so fast this year. Happy Birthday Beckham Ray, Mommy loves you!
